Lego and Sandcastles: How It All Started
Somewhere between a battered wooden box of Lego and the shifting sands of a Greek beach, my love for design took root. Whether stacking bricks into abstract monsters or engineering sandcastle defences against the tide, I learned early on that creativity is about adaptation, storytelling, and pushing boundaries. Today, that same spirit shapes the spaces I design—places that aren’t just built but felt, where imagination takes the lead.

Playtime in Wonderland: The Whimsical Magic of Loong Swim Club
In the heart of Suzhou, China, a one-of-a-kind recreational space has reimagined the way children and parents experience play. The Loong Swim Club, designed by X+Living, is more than just a swimming facility—it's a dreamlike wonderland where bold, oversized forms and soft pastel tones create an enchanting environment that feels straight out of a storybook.
At Loong Swim Club, every element of the design fosters interaction between parents and children, ensuring that young ones feel both safe and inspired to explore. From floating bubble-like seating areas to organic, flowing structures that guide movement through the space, the interiors encourage shared experiences, making it a true multi-generational playground.

Future Nostalgia: Louis Vuitton and Murakami’s Playful Pop-Up in NYC
Earlier this month, Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami unveiled a bold, joyfully designed pop-up in New York's SoHo. Filled with colour-blocked rooms and rounded-edge furniture, the store celebrates the original 2003 Louis Vuitton x Murakami collaboration with updated and original versions of bags, accessories and other items.
Taking inspiration from Tokyo’s capsule hotels, the space is divided into vibrant monochrome areas—each telling its own story.

Spotlight: VEKTOR by Christopher Bauder at Kraftwerk Berlin
Today’s inspiration comes from Christopher Bauder’s breathtaking art piece, VEKTOR, showcased at Kraftwerk Berlin.
This mesmerising installation fuses the dynamic movement of 50 kinetic lasers with a self-composed three-dimensional soundscape, creating a truly synaesthetic experience.
