Puma tasked Zachary Pulman Design Studio with creating an interior design that placed sustainability at the heart of its retail spaces. The design had to reflect the brand’s eco-conscious ethos by reusing materials from former stores and minimizing the use of new resources.

It also needed to accommodate in-store sporting events, ensure the footwear remained the focus, and optimize staff-customer interaction by rethinking stock storage.

The Brief

The studio delivered an innovative and adaptable concept using a lightweight, modular system that allowed for flexible assembly and reassembly, akin to Lego. This system enabled quick transformations of the space for events. High-tech rotating shards formed dynamic shopfronts, while central recycled storage niches ensured staff could access stock without leaving customers unattended.

The result was a sustainable, functional, and visually striking environment that aligned with Puma’s brand values.
