This project required creative problem-solving to overcome lease restrictions preventing concealed pipework within a 1940s London Fields apartment. The client sought a functional yet visually striking space for eating and entertaining, despite these constraints.

The Brief
The design team embraced the challenge by showcasing the industrial appeal of exposed materials, turning copper pipework into a defining aesthetic element. Warm, textured materials such as exposed brick, tonal woods, stone, and marble created a cohesive look.
The space was further transformed by restructuring under the stairs to make the kitchen a central hub. Key features include stark white cabinetry, heavily veined marble counters, cowhide dining chairs, and a bespoke fluorescent light fixture, blending practicality with bold design.
