Following the successful launches of Swingers venues in London and Washington, D.C., The Institute of Competitive Socialising engaged us to design their fourth location, this time in Manhattan’s NoMad district. The concept envisioned an immersive 1920s English country golf club, blending nostalgic elegance with a premium atmosphere. Spanning 23,000 sq ft, the goal was to craft an upscale space centred around a grand clubhouse, complete with imaginative crazy golf courses and a selection of gourmet food and drink offerings.

The Brief
Situated beneath the Virgin Hotel at 29th and Broadway, Swingers NoMad captures the essence of a 1920s English country club, with three intricately designed nine-hole crazy golf courses weaving through a lavish central clubhouse. The venue showcases four gourmet street food brands, six cocktail bars, and multiple private event rooms, providing a varied, high-quality experience for guests. The opulent clubhouse, alongside refined design elements, transports visitors from the bustling Manhattan streets into a stylish world of English leisure, combining sophistication with the engaging charm of Swingers' signature immersive experience.
