Approached by an international client to develop the reception space for a new office building in Downtown Taipei, we looked to create a sleek, modern and understated environment.
Servicing a variety of companies in this mixed-use building, we sought to accommodate a display for each of these firms with a sense of permanence, despite their changing with the movement of tenants. Our innovative solution was magnetic lettering on an illuminated glass wall, which doubled as a discrete mini office within the vast reception.
The Carrara marble walls, inlayed with rods of brushed nickel, were a subtle detail which made them shimmer as visitors walked past. Since there was an abundance of square footage available, our design team integrated a multi-functional element into the space with a bespoke seating solution in the waiting area that could be used for private meetings.

The Brief
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
