For the London-based jewelry house Belmacz, we reimagined their identity to reflect the transformative journey of their creations—from raw minerals to refined masterpieces. Drawing inspiration from the mining process, the updated logo incorporates bold, raw letterforms that evolve into polished shapes, mirroring the refinement of materials into jewelry.

The design story spans the brutality of mining to the luxury of Mayfair, capturing the juxtaposition of environments and the journey of both materials and the jewelry itself, which often travels across generations and geographies. This concept of dislocation and connection is reflected in every detail: missing shapes from one item reappear on another, creating a cohesive visual system across media.

A standout feature includes a reflective restroom wall adorned with Google Earth images of diamond mines, screen-printed onto glass and backed with gold leaf—a nod to the origins of Belmacz’s exquisite pieces.
