Notting Hill House

Situated on one of the most elegant streets in Notting Hill, this Victorian property had been divided into four flats. Project management was key since the fabric of the building was in a state of disrepair with dry rot, wet rot, woodworm and damp throughout.

The client was eager to reinstate the property to a single dwelling. Furthermore, they wanted a practical space which remained marketable, whilst clearly functioning as a home in which to entertain. Accordingly, Zachary Pulman Design Studio developed a deliberate structural proposal with skillful solutions, and went on to deliver a light filled and colourful, open plan arrangement with an incredible double height space to the rear. Clever architectural features, floating staircases, opaque screens and room separators, as well as inspired lighting treatments and soft furnishings, enhanced and complimented the scheme.
