A stylish refurbishment of an existing classic conversion, Zachary Pulman reinvented this flat in South Kensington, London, with a pastel palette and inspired use of the space. Situated in a stunning Italianate building, on one of London’s most sort after streets, the apartment was cleverly re-configured with a plain English kitchen relocated from under the mezzanine.
Re-working interior spaces and carving extra room out of thin air is something at which the design team at Zachary Pulman Design Practice excels. This project was no exception. The mezzanine floor was extended to create space below for a spacious double bedroom. The mezzanine itself was transformed into further living space, and the perfect place to snuggle in front of the TV.
Parquet floors, gorgeous marbles, chandeliers in the Venetian style and a rich compliment of greys, velvets and prints all worked seamlessly to transform the space into an elegant, sophisticated modern home.
